Ordering Information

We hope that purchasing online with L'amour Botanique will be an easy experience for you and that you will be delighted with your purchases. The following information is a guide to shopping online with us which also includes an optional collection in South Devon of your purchases if you are local.

 Ordering

Online: You can order products from our garden shop by adding them to the basket;some items require you to make choices by using a drop-down menu. Once you have chosen  your delivery option  you are then ready to pay for your order at the checkout. You don't need to register an account with us online to purchase with us. However if you do register an account you will be able to view all past orders and you won't have to fill in all your contact and delivery particulars each time you return to place an order with us.

Email: If you prefer you send an email containing your contact and delivery details, prefered payment method (paypal or cheque) together with the items that you require  to sales@lamourbotanique.co.uk We will then send you an e-invoice if payment is via Paypal or attach an invoice for payment by cheque by post.

Phone: Simply call us and place an order. We will then email your order details to you and payment will be as per ordering by email.

To send an order by post: Add your items that you would like to purchase to your shopping basket and at the checkout choose' Ordering by Post'. Once you have completed the details requested in the form and confirmed this method of payment you can print and copy off the email  we will send to you confirming your order. Please post a copy of this invoice together with a cheque (full details about payment by cheque below).

Once your order payment has been cleared we will contact you when your order has been despatched; usually within 3 to 7 working days.   

Please note that we can only send Biological Pest Control products to Mainland UK

Do let us know if you are going on holiday so we can delay sending your parcel until you return!

  Payment

Debit/Credit Card: Simply order online with a credit/debit card or choose the cheque payment option at the checkout. You can pay for your purchases with PayPal's secure online payment facility. You do not need to have an account with PayPal to use their payment facility and PayPal do not share any of your personal financial details with L'amour Botanique.

Cheque   If you would prefer to pay by cheque you will need to select this payment option at the checkout.

  Delivery

We aim to process your purchase within 1 or 2 days of payment received, if not the same day, so that you receive your item well within 3 to 7 working days. Some items  may take between 5-10 working days as they are sent direct from our suppliers.

All deliveries by ParcelForce and Royal Mail will need to be signed for. The maximum weight per parcel is 30kg. On occasion other couriers may be used.

Royal Mail up to 2 kg~Our minimum postal fee is £2.50 up to £5.50 depending on the weight and size of the item.

Collection FREE and Local Compost Delivery

You are welcome to collect items that we hold in stock by arrangement from: The Shop at Avonwick or at one of our events. Please choose the items that you would like to purchase and then the delivery option 'Collection/Delivery South Devon'. Once you have made a payment for your order we will contact you  to make the arrangements for collection or delivery! 

Delivery of Compost in the South Hams area in South Devon is FREE. We can also deliver other items with compost orders (please see below). For  items other than compost we can arrange delivery in South Devon; do contact us for a quote. For all other items or areas in the UK we use Parcelforce, Royal Mail or Couriers.

  Some items are Delivered by Our Supplier's

Some items are delivered directly by our suppliers. This is because some of the items may be perishable or very large and heavy. This also minimises the energy used in the transportation of large items around the UK in order to deliver to us whilst cutting the cost of the product so only one delivery cost is applied. Deliveries by our suppliers usually are within 3 to 7 working days however please allow for up to 10 working days during busy times of the year.

   Packaging

We pack all our orders  in recycled cardboard boxes that are insulated/filled with a high grade clean straw or shredded paper for protection of the items. Please collect the straw as you unpack and place in a bag as it has the ability to travel far and wide thoughtout the house! You could re-use the straw outside to protect your plants from chilly evenings or add to the compost heap or it is suitable for use as pet bedding! We also re-use packaging from deliveries that we recieve.

Fulfilment

Our policy is to only offer items in our online garden shop that we hold in stock  or are offered for delivery by our suppliers.  On the rare occasion that we have made an error with our stock levels or there has been a high demand we will inform you and offer a date when the items will be in stock again; usually suppliers deliver to us very quickly- within 7 days! You would, of course, have the option of cancelling that order/or part-order with us and we would give you a full refund for the items out of stock. This Fulfilment Policy also applies if we find out that our suppliers stock is unavailble and they haven't informed us!
