Retail Sales

We deliver our seasonal Culinary Herbs for Cooking to retail outlets throughout East, South and West Devon between 1st March and  30th September. The culinary herbs are intended to be used directly in cooking and kept on a windowsill or kitchen worktop. Our culinary herbs are available in biodegradable pots wapped for retail sales or as a collection of different herb varieties planted in planters and containers. The herbs are grown using Fertile Fibre Peat-Free organically certified Compost, Organically certified seed and presented in biodegradable plant pots wrapped in pale green kraft paper with a wooden and paper label. 

Storage and Care
The culinary herbs for the kitchen are best suited to an indoor environment unless in a sheltered spot outside and frost/wind free. Having said this they do require a good natural light source and do not fair well under artificial light for example at the back of a shop. They have been grown undercover as a food product so are less hardy than our herbs for the garden. Having said that  they can be displayed outside  in a light, sheltered and airy (not draughty) location. The growing herbs for cooking should not be placed in the chiller.
The planters and baskets are lined with plastic sheeting to retain mositure and compost; they are supplied to us that way. The coir compost has excellent water holding capabilities and all culinary herbs will be delivered with a good moisture content. It will be neccessary to check all plants periodically incase they need watering.
